The Exam Is Over—So Why Are They Still Studying? Inside Shincheonji Andrew Tribe's Second-Quarter Heavenly Exam
Do you remember that one top student in school who always seemed to have the perfect study habits?
Most people shout, "It's finally over!" the moment the exam ends and can't wait to put their books away.😂
But the very best students were different.
Right after the exam, they would sit back
down, review their mistakes, and strengthen the areas where they fell short.
They understood that real learning begins after the test, when knowledge becomes something you truly make your own rather than simply memorize for a score.
Surprisingly, a similar passion for learning has recently been drawing attention in religious circles.
It's the Shincheonji Andrew Tribe's
Heavenly Exam.
Even after the second-quarter Heavenly
Exam, held on the 27th of last month, many members reportedly continued
memorizing and meditating on Scripture in their daily lives instead of closing
their Bibles.
Rather than simply ranking participants,
the Heavenly Exam is designed to help believers put God's Word into practice in
their daily lives. Let's take a closer look.

📈 The Numbers Tell the Story: Participation Keeps Rising
You might be wondering whether it's just a one-time event involving only a handful of people.
However, the statistics from the second-quarter Heavenly Exam reveal both its impressive scale and the enthusiasm of its participants.
A total of 8,118 people registered for the exam, and 7,258 ultimately took part.
The exam participation rate reached 37.8%
of the church's registered membership.
This represents a 0.9 percentage point increase from the first quarter's 36.9%, reflecting growing participation among church members.
Individual churches also recorded
remarkable results.👍
Changwon Church/
Recorded the highest participation rate,
with 44.6% of registered members taking the exam.
Jeju Church/
Achieved the highest exam pass rate at
18.0%.
Andrew Church/
Recorded the largest number of examinees,
with 3,114 participants.
Ulsan Church/
A total of 2,025 members took the exam,
demonstrating strong enthusiasm.
These figures reflect the sincere
commitment of members across every church to examine their faith and
internalize God's Word in their daily lives.

"Failure Became My Motivation" — Voices from Church Members
The Heavenly Exam has taken root as a culture of faith because members place greater value on the learning process than on the final result.
Listening to the experiences of those who
took the exam made the message even more meaningful and inspiring.
💡 "I Put Bible Verses Everywhere I Could See Them"
After falling just short of passing last
year's Revelation memorization exam, one church member proudly passed this
time.
"I was disappointed by the result, but I became determined to pass the next time."
"During every commute, I memorized
Scripture during my commute and placed Bible verses around my home where I'd
see them every day. Repeating them consistently made all the difference."
The member credited consistency as the key to success.
💡 "An AI's Response Only Made Me More Determined"
Another church member, who didn't pass the
first-quarter exam but succeeded in the second quarter, also shared an
inspiring story.
"At first, I simply tried to memorize
everything. This time, I found a study method that worked for me.
Instead of discouraging me, that response only made me more determined, so I studied even harder.
In the end, I realized that what mattered
most was having the determination to keep going until the very end."
💡 "I Didn't Pass, but My Determination Has Grown Stronger"
Another member, who participated in both
the first- and second-quarter exams but has not yet passed, also shared a
heartfelt reflection.
"Looking back, I believe I simply needed to put in more effort.
Seeing so many fellow members encourage one
another while studying God's Word strengthened my determination to continue
memorizing the Book of Revelation," the member said with a smile.
An Andrew Tribe representative explained
that the Heavenly Exam is not simply about achieving a high score but about
making God's Word a lasting part of everyday life.
Unlike ordinary exams that end once the
test is over, participants see the Heavenly Exam as a milestone that encourages
them to internalize Scripture and reflect it in their character and daily
lives.
Taking a few moments during a commute or a
lunch break to reflect on Scripture instead of scrolling through a smartphone
may already be a meaningful victory in everyday life.
For some, this Scripture-centered culture has become a way to examine their faith. For others, it has become a habit that helps them overcome themselves and grow spiritually.
Reading these stories makes me think that perhaps we all need a true guiding principle to carry in our hearts.
Perhaps today is a good opportunity to
reflect on what serves as your own guiding principle in life.
